Hilgard joined the Outdoor Investment Holdings group in 2015 as Operations Manager at Safari Outdoor, where he played a key role in strengthening operational structures and supporting the business through a period of sustained growth. His leadership and operational oversight contributed significantly to the development and scalability of the retail network.
In 2025, Hilgard was appointed Managing Director of Stonewolf Supply Co., bringing his deep understanding of group operations, retail execution, and strategic alignment to the wholesale environment. Earlier in his career, he was involved in the expansion of the German retail brand POCO and held senior positions at publicly listed retailers including Iliad, Massmart, and Steinhoff.
Hilgard holds a BCom in International Trade and Marketing, an Honours degree, and a Master of Business Leadership (MBL), completed in 2010. His blend of operational discipline, retail insight, and strategic leadership continues to drive performance and growth within the Stonewolf business.
