Johannes (Jo) is a seasoned industry leader with more than 30 years of experience in the firearm and outdoor wholesale sector. A qualified engineer with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pretoria, he joined the business in 1994 and built a deep operational foundation within the organisation.
After a decade in operations, Jo was appointed General Manager in 2004, promoted to Director in 2005, and assumed the role of Managing Director of Formalito in 2007. Under his long-standing leadership, Formalito has continued to strengthen its position as South Africa’s leading outdoor wholesale distributor, recognised for scale, reliability, and trusted dealer relationships.
